My husband Ben Patridge and I have always loved Llamas primarily because we are huge Disney Fans as a household, and we instantly fell in LOVE with The Emperors New Groove!
We are constantly using Disney Movie Quote references in our household, and since Emperor Kuzco is 1/2 me and 1/2 my husband the name "Laundry Llama" absolutely fit!
Love for clothing
For many years I worked for Janie & Jack/Gymboree, and I developed a love for kids clothing.
I am genuinely interested in all aspects of clothing design, clothing lines, fabrics, and as such I enjoy taking care of a well made product.
I am a very detail oriented person, and arguably a perfectionist.
I worked for over 15 years as an Escrow Officer in the Real Estate market and as a Transaction Coordinator in San Diego California.
Years later I developed Fibromyalgia, Neuropathy, and an auto-immune disorder which made my previous career improbable.
I made a few attempts over the years to work in retail (Janie & Jack/ Gymboree) and after several moves and attempts at normality I was unable to find something that worked with my health and schedule.
As often perceptively mundane as laundry is, I was recently able to turn something that is not a chore for me into a potential way to help others and bring in some extra income for my family.
I am hoping to offer my clients the same level of dedication and attention to detail I used in my real-estate/escrow career, into something as personal as laundry.
